My Commitment to Alberta and her People

As your potential MP, I am dedicated to accountability and tangible service. Politicians are overpaid, and I’ll prove it by donating half my salary to help families fund their kids’ recreational activities—sports, arts, music—because no child should miss out due to poverty, a struggle I know firsthand. If my riding ever believes I’m not delivering, I’ll step down voluntarily and never run again. Your vote isn’t just a checkmark—it’s a promise I’ll honor.

But my vision goes beyond personal accountability. I will push the Provincial Government to convene Constitutional Conventions, crafting a ruleset and Constitution that demands a referendum on Alberta’s independence, severing Federal overreach.

Alberta stands stronger alone, and I see a future fueled by bold investments in research and development (R&D) to pioneer new technologies, industries, and jobs that secure our prosperity.

Economic Independence and Innovation

Imagine specialized greenhouses producing fresh, local food 365 days a year—fruits, vegetables, herbs—ending our reliance on costly imports. This isn’t just about self-sufficiency; it’s about building a new agricultural industry that creates jobs and stabilizes food prices. For our oil sands, I propose deeper R&D partnerships with oil companies and Treaty territories, who’ve been woven into this system for decades. Together, we’ll innovate extraction methods, reduce environmental impact, and share profits fairly—turning a resource into a global powerhouse. Our industrial products—oil, steel, timber—will target world markets, with aggressive trade strategies to maximize Alberta’s economic clout.

Supporting Farmers Long-Term

Alberta’s farmers are our backbone, and they deserve more than short-term fixes. I’ll champion R&D for drought-resistant crops and advanced irrigation systems, ensuring they thrive through unpredictable climates. Subsidies should shift from handouts to investments—think low-interest loans for modern equipment or tax breaks for adopting sustainable practices. We’ll build a network of local processing plants so farmers keep more profit instead of losing it to middlemen. Pair this with our year-round greenhouses, and we’re not just feeding Alberta—we’re exporting surplus, strengthening rural communities for generations.

Bolstering the Trucking Industry

Our trucking industry keeps Alberta moving, and it’s time we invest in it properly. I’ll push for upgraded highway infrastructure—wider lanes, better rest stops, and winter-ready roads—to cut delays and boost safety. R&D can bring electric or hybrid rigs tailored for our long hauls, reducing fuel costs and emissions. Retraining programs will help drivers transition to new tech, while tax incentives for small operators keep them competitive. With independence, we’ll negotiate trade deals that prioritize Alberta truckers hauling our goods worldwide, not just across a border.

Retraining Albertans for High-Demand Industries

To secure our future, we must retrain Albertans for industries begging for talent—like healthcare, tech, and green energy. Picture fast-tracked programs: a laid-off oil worker becomes a nurse in 18 months, with tuition covered and a job guaranteed. Healthcare needs doctors, technicians, and home-care workers—let’s fund training hubs in every major town, blending online learning with hands-on practice. For tech, we’ll launch coding bootcamps and apprenticeships tied to our R&D goals, like designing greenhouse automation or oil sands software. This isn’t charity—it’s an investment in Albertans, ensuring no one’s left behind as we build new industries.

A Fair Path Forward with Treaty Territories
Independence only works if it’s inclusive. Treaty territories must have an equal say and share in this new Alberta. That means seats at the table for Constitutional talks, profit-sharing in oil and agriculture projects, and funding for their own R&D—maybe renewable energy on their lands. Their knowledge of the land can guide sustainable farming and resource management, making us all stronger. This isn’t just fairness—it’s partnership.
